can i delete safari & just use google chrome on my iPhone and iPad?

So, I can’t delete Safari which is taking up valuable real estate, especially on my iPhone? Can I make Google Chrome my default? I’ve been using Safari for ~3 years now and I still don’t like it, and usually copy/paste to use Google instead.

You can't make Chrome your default browser, but you can add it to your dock.
You can use Chrome but Safari isn't one of the built-in apps that can be deleted. See: Delete built-in Apple apps on your iOS 12, iOS 13, or iPadOS device or Apple Watch - Apple Support
