Workouts app not playing Playlist

Owner of a new Series 5 Apple Watch. Started suing the Workouts app, because the Nike Run Club app won't play my music playlist during a workout (from my watch). Well, started a workout today with the Workouts app, and for some reason, the workout started playing the audio of a Hallmark movie my wife was watching through out Apple TV. I verified that the correct playlist was selected in the Workouts app settings on my iPhone (I even deleted and re-added the playlist), but no luck. I have also verified that the playlist is downloaded to my watch. I'm thinking that I may have to un-pair and re-pair my watch to my iPhone, but I don't want to lose any Workout data I currently have. So, looking for idea's as to what may be the problem.
