Having trouble with the new phone. Couldn’t find any way to put it on speaker while calling. Also the red “hang up” button never appeared so I had to wait for the other caller to hang up.

From what I understand is that you're having some troubles with calls and I'd like to help with this issue. Let's make sure that your up to date on your iOS version: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Also, restart your iPhone. Sometimes a restart can help resolve issues.
Does this seem to be an issue with one contact or all contacts? Incoming calls or outgoing calls?
When on a call, are you seeing the dial pad or do you see the other options? While on a call on iPhone If you don't see the options, you should see Hide on the bottom right corner. This will pull up the other options and speaker should be there as well.
