"Notes"
The notes I put onto this app have inadverently disappeared. How do I get them back?

You mean: "On My iPhone" Folder
There are two possibilities
- The notes could have been inadvertently moved to iCloud folder. https://www.icloud.com login with apple id credentials and you may check there.
- You may have created the Notes in Gmail or yahoo and the account as been removed from your iPhone. Add any recently deleted email account
