Beats Studio3 wireless broke at the hinge

Next to the hinge the beats studio3 broke just after 4 month usage. The Apple service told me that this type of physical damage is not covered under the warranty. However I believe the failure has occurred due to a defect in materials (you may see attached picture). Would you help me providing escalation contact of Apple support?
