Sync iPad Pro 11 inch with Macbook Pro (Early 2015 inch)

I am wondering if it is possible to sync my iPad Pro with my Macbook manually. I have a USB port, I need to manually sync my iPad through Finder/ Apple Music. What adaptors would I require to connect my iPad Pro to my Macbook? I am unable to find a USB to USB-C connection.
