What do I have to do to erase text messages from my Apple watch? I have tried swiping left on a message, an orange button that shows a trashcan. Tap on the trashcan and the message reappears OR New Message appears. I see no way to type a New Message. Am I doing something wrong or is my watch in need of a repair?
To erase messages, you swipe left from the right side of the screen and press the trash can. To start a new message, hard press anywhere on the screen with the messages app open. From there, you can pick your contact and compose your message. If these do not work, you may have to reload watchOS.
