My phone keeps telling me I have too many devices attached to my Apple ID but I only have one

My phone keeps telling me when trying to download Apple Music and purchased ringtones that I have too many devices linked to my Apple ID but I only have the one.

Apple ID is not associated with my device How to get your Apple ID to be associated with devices? I’m the only person that’s had this iPhone I bought new. I did have another Apple ID but sprint erased my back up so had to make a new one. Now I can’t download music for offline I keep getting message saying “device is already associated with another Apple ID” but that Apple ID is gone gone as in deleted.
