Yellow Border on MacBook Pro 2017

I have a yellow Border on my screen. I created a test account, not on that account. Anyone have any idea how to get rid of this?

Hello Danathemom,

Thanks for asking the Apple Support Communities for help with the yellow border on your screen. Also, thanks for the screenshot and troubleshooting you already attempted.

Did you install any screen recording software that may be running? You may be able to see if there is such an app currently operating in the Force Quit menu. How to force an app to quit on your Mac - Apple Support

Make note of the apps currently running, and if you force quit and the yellow border goes away, you know what app it comes from.

If not, next I recommend testing if the same issue is going on in safe mode. Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac - Apple Support

Safe mode loads only required kernel extensions, and prevents startup items and login items from opening automatically. If the issue comes back when you reboot to leave save mode, check if there are incompatible login items. This article will help: If your Mac has a blue screen or other startup problems - Apple Support

If the issue is also occurring in safe mode, please take a screenshot on your Mac screen. How to take a screenshot on your Mac - Apple Support

"Press Shift-Command-5"

Then, send the picture to another device, is the yellow border showing in the screenshot on another screen?

Thanks and have a wonderful day.
