Why does my apple watch 5 not have the tip function on the calculator?

I remember reading a post about this a while back, but cannot locate it. I open my Calculator on the Watch 5 and it shows the tip button. I'll keep looking.

Found it. Force press the screen while the calculator is displayed. Then you will see a choice of Tip or %.

It should be available for the US. What do you see when you open the calculator? Have you tried the steps shown in the support link I provided? What version of watchOS are you using? Check in the Watch app on the iPhone, go to General>About>Version.

There was a link in the very first one. Either way, you don't need it now. Follow the steps I provided in my last response. While the calculator app is on the screen, force press the Watch screen, and you can choose between Tip or %.

As indicated here, Use Calculator on Apple Watch - Apple Support the Tip function is not available in all regions.

You press downward on the face of the watch in the center. It should then change to show you the two choices to make for tip or %.
