Keep getting double text notifications

I keep getting double text notifications for the same text message. This is annoying to say the least.

I have tried to go into my settings, but I can’t find a way to turn off a double notification with text. I just want a text notice once when I get a text, not another notice for the same text 5 - 10 minutes later.

Can anyone help?
