I recently purchased an Apple Watch and when I try sharing my activity with friends it does not work. From the app in the iPhone I press the + button and click on the friend I want to add but nothing happens. I also noticed that the “profile” button which is supposed to be on the left of the “+” button is not there for me.
Any idea how to fix that?

i have managed to fix it on my side.
i call the Apple support and the person made me try all the things I previously tried and what finally worked was to completely shut down both phone and Apple Watch and restart them. After that it was working

Have same issue Nike+ 44m watch. Attempted all the troubleshooting steps. Unpaired watch and paired again. Signed out and signed back in. I send out invites and people don’t get them or they send them to me and I don’t see it.... what’s the deal with this fix now I have to make time and go to the Apple store to see if they can fix it, let me know if there are other things I can attempt.
by the way software on Apple Watch is up to date I verified that as well.
