Bluetooth detection on new Apple TV 4gen not working.

Have followed many solutions (relocate Apple TV, software updates, restart, disconnect from power).

My Apple TV 3 wont find any bluetooth devices. I have put them all into pairing mode and restarted the TV and nothing is picked up to be able to pair it Apple TV 3rd Gen won't find any Bluetooth devices. Tried a speaker, Bluetooth earphones, beats earphones but nothing is found. Any ideas on how to fix this or is the Bluetooth screwed?
