If it's an Apple Store gift card it can only be used in Apple's shops and their online store, it cannot be used with iTunes

What type of gift card is it (iTunes and App Store gift cards only have a redemption code, not a pin number : Redeem App Store & iTunes Gift Cards and content codes - Apple Support) ?
