Have tried everything from that page of suggestions apart from turning iMessage and FaceTime off. When I go through settings to access either it doesn’t allow me to sign in. I enter the Apple ID and “sign in” doesn’t respond.
It’s when opening the apps that both keep saying the error is with FaceTime. I have tried all the other suggestions and it has now been longer than 24 hours.
We have all tried this - doesn't work

My daughter is having the same issue. There is clearly something messed up at Apple. Would be nice if someone at Apple would respond to one of the many threads talking about this.
I had this problem, but fixed with an Apple call back. They have to activate something if it is a family sharing account for a child. Nice of them to tell us beforehand.
