my email has excessive spam
All email I get in the Mail app is from my apple ID and it is full of spam
If the spam is often from one of more of the same addresses, you can go to iCloud.com/Mail using a computer browser, click the gear at the bottom left, and create a Rule(s) to delete the emails. Sample below.
