iPod Splitting Albums despite iTunes Library having tracks as one album

I have always been meticulous with organising my iTunes library and my old iPod nano 7th generation never used to have a problem syncing with albums I had organised. Ie: once all the necessary information was there through "get info" it would pair the album together.

The nano would basically always look the same as my iTunes library where the albums are all grouped together as I'd like them.

However, my new iPod Touch is splitting albums even when the album is all together in my iTunes library and with some of them, the information looks all the same throughout the tracks so I'm unsure what I need to change in "get info" in order for the album to group together.

If anyone has any methods on how to fix this I'd be very grateful?

Have you looked at the performers? In the past I’ve seen iTunes split an album by performers....so have Billy Joel do 10 of the songs but him and someone else do the other two it splits the album by performers making 2 entries where there only should be one
