Microsoft Windows application are not supported on macOS

Is there any way to get a Microsoft application to be supported on macOS? I’ve heard of people downloading windows on a Mac but I don’t understand it.... any help would be greatly appreciated!

All of the software that works fine is designed to run in macOS. John is referring to software designed for Windows, not Windows itself or software written for Macs; the only difference knowing what program it is would make is to rule out some of the possible methods.

RunSandiskSecure is a program that creates an encrypted vault on the USB.  The program uses a private key to alter the files under a single directory or directory structure so you can carry private data without fear of exposure.


Windows now has BitLocker which does the same and OS X supports it:
