Transfer HomeKit home ownership

Is there a way to easily transfer ownership of a HomeKit home? State of the art home utilizing HomeKit has been sold and would like to assign new ownership without having to reset and reprogram everything. Is there a way to assign the home to a new Apple ID?

No. They will need to set it up with their own Apple ID. Then set it up how they want it to be. The new owners might not even want to use Homekit or prefer Alexa or Google Home and also will need to assign it to their own wifi and install the associated Apps on their devices etc. Giving them the codes and serial numbers might help them out.
