Hi, T154,

Thanks for following up. As long as you are signed into the same Apple ID that originally made the purchases, you do not have to buy them again.

If you're using a different Apple ID than the one that originally bought the movies in question, you would either have to sign out of your current Apple ID and back into the old one to access those movies, or you would need to purchase them again using the new Apple ID.

If the Apple ID is the same as the one used to originally purchase the content, make sure it isn't hidden: Hide and unhide music, movies, TV shows, audiobooks, and books - Apple Support, and then try to redownload it: Redownload apps, music, movies, TV shows, and books - Apple Support.

If you are still unable to access your movies after that, you will need to speak to Apple Support directly so they can assist you with your iTunes Store account and purchases: Contact Apple Support.

Best.

Hi, T154!

Thanks for stopping by the Apple Support Communities. I see from your post that you've recently updated to macOS Catalina and are wanting to know where your movies are, since iTunes is no longer part of macOS. I'd be more than happy to help!

You can find your iTunes movie purchases in the Apple TV app on your computer. This app was part of macOS Catalina, so was automatically installed when you updated. For more information on using the Apple TV app to manage and view your iTunes movies library, check out Manage your library in the Apple TV app on Mac - Apple Support, and to find out what else you can do in the Apple TV app, check out Watch movies, TV shows, and live content in the Apple TV app - Apple Support.

Happy New Year!
