How do you not "Save" in fcpx?

It appears that fcpx saves as you go. I see no "save" command but notice whatever I've done is automatically saved. This is a problem when I'm trying to learn new things and experimenting but don't want to save my changes. So....

Is there any way to not "Save" until I want to?

and

Is there a way to "Save as."

thanks!

Ahhhh...I see where the disconnect is. The word "snapshot" in fcpx means more than just a picture. It captures the arrangement of media in the project at a specific time.

For anyone else that may have this question, I found a video that gives a clearer explanation of what a "snapshot" is in fcpx.

Hmmm....Tom I have replied to you twice but the reply will not post. I'll try replying to you here.

Thanks, Tom. I've been making a duplicate before I start as a work around, but these are large files and that's time consuming and not an efficient work flow. And I've also tried undo, but the problem there is if I've been working for an hour and made a lot of changes, then towards the end a series of changes have a bad result, finding the break point going backwards is difficult at best.
