Question

This Malware seems to have hijacked my Chrome. Default search engine is now Yahoo/Search Pulse. It cannot be uninstalled:

(you can see the box where 'remove' would appear is blank.

Neither TotalAV nor Malwarebytes can detect this. And resetting chrome to default does nothing either.

Help?

Check your system preferences if there is a created "Profiles"

If you can't remember creating one, delete it. Open profiles and delete what is inside.

I have also run TotalAV. "Pulse" disappears for about 10 seconds and then returns. Help!

Thanks, I actually just did that the other day and it worked! Took me a while to figure it out but it is now gone.
