Keep screen lit while charging

Since Apple apparently refuses to provide this option, does anyone know a workaround? I am not interested in setting to “never.” I want “never while charging or docked.” If Android can offer this feature, surely Apple can as well.

That is currently not a feature for the iPhone. The only "workaround" as you ask, would be to sent Auto-Lock to Never, which you state you do not wish to do. You may provide feedback to Apple requesting a feature change by going here, Feedback - iPhone - Apple
