lost airpods / paired but wont show up

Hello, few days ago i lost my airpods, they were showing in find my app but just theyre last location, someone tool them and now they just dissapeared from app but in bluetooth settings i can see them that they are still paired, will they show up in find my app if someone charge them? Or how does it work please help me
