My Apple email account keeps saying my password is wrong but it’s not

I’m trying to verify my Apple I could account but when I have to enter my verification code I try signing into my email and it says my password is incorrect. How can I get the verification code now.

iPhone 7, iOS 13

Have you tried changing the password to see if that makes a difference?


 Apple ID Password Change


 What to do after you change your Apple ID or password - Apple Support     I suggest doing this before you change your Apple ID or password.


Do you have access to another WiFi network where you can try? That has worked for several people.


Try a restart.


Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch


Try a forced restart.


Reset Device


If necessary


Hard reset


Do a backup and try a factory reset. Then restore from your backup.


Restore to Factory setting


Backup - Restore your device from an iCloud or iTunes backup
