I can no longer listen to songs on the iTunes store in my version 10.7.0.21 (I use this version as it was one of the most stable versions and you can open multiple windows on it!).
This is a fairly recent error and is repeated on my laptop and PC. I can play music as normal but when I click to listen to a song I'm thinking of buying nothing plays.
Please help!

Or perhaps you just never signed out? Have you actually tried to buy something using 10.7 since October 15? I just tried to listen to a song at the iTunes Store with 11.1.5. The song appeared to be playing, but I didn't get any audio - which isn't very surprising since I can't sign in.
If you're not interested in a version of iTunes that can manage apps for iOS devices, then you might as well upgrade to the latest version - assuming you are running Windows 7 or above. If you happen to be running Windows XP or Vista, then you might as well stick with 10.7 for playback purposes because replacing it with 4-year-old 12.1.3 (the final version for XP/Vista) wouldn't solve your problem: It is also not supported by the iTunes Store now.
Hello Sevillano1. Wow, you are still using iTunes 10.7 on two systems? Are you still able to sign in to the iTunes Store with 10.7? I have iTunes 11.1.5 installed on an old PC running Vista, but I can no longer sign in. Have you seen error messages like this:
My understanding is that iTunes versions older than 12.6.5.3 are no longer supported by the iTunes Store as of October 2019, but please correct me if I'm wrong about that. I might downgrade to 10.7 myself if you can actually buy songs with it.
Yeah, I use it on my laptop for some DJing as I like that you can have multiple windows open at the same time. On my PC it's just useful the layout is clear.

Yeah I get that error message repeatedly.
I'm amazed that Apple does not look at this version 10.7.0.21 as one of the best it had and put it back, so useful and above all functional!
