Bluetooth keyboard not working

I have an Apple keyboard that has worked perfectly forever. I just updated the iPad and now when I type I can’t backspace unless I’m holding down option, and when I type, random letter keys make the emoji on screen keyboard show up. Idk if this is due to the update or not.

Have you tried to unpair and re-pair it?
