It appears that your battery has is nearing the end of its lifespan. Just like Tesserax suggested (above) have your iPhone examined at an Apple Store near you and if necessary then have the battery replaced. Thanks.

It appears that you are already on iOS 12 which is as far as your iPhone 6 can be updated. If you give us some specifics on the performance of your iPhone then we will be able to provide other solutions.

There is no other solution about a software update. Since you don't explain why your iPhone is not working, or what exactly is not working, no one could tell you anything. The only thing you stated clearly was about an update, and the answer to that is you cannot get one. Try clearly explaining what else is wrong and what you have tried to do to correct it.

The iPhone 6 will not update to the latest iOS 13.

Now you may tell us why you think your iPhone is not performing well. Be specific and we will try and help you address your concerns.

Make a Genius Bar appointment at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider to have them take a look at your iPhone and provide you with your options.

I explained what you needed to do. Provide information for help. If you do not wish to do that, then follow the instructions that Tesserax provided and let Apple examine your setup.
