Iphone 7 speaker greyed out after ios update!

Hi There,

I’ve been using lots of Apple products since 2008 and I’ve a stupid problem now. After updating the iOS of my Iphone 7 and connecting it to my bluetooth earphone I started to not use my iphone’s speaker anymore. It’s greyed out, disabled now. I updated the operating system to the newest one but nothing is changed. I read lots of posts mentioned the same problem, what’s next? What will Apple Company respond to them? Don’t you think you are the responsible?

Thx

iPhone 7, iOS 13

Hi tugcebyc,

Thanks for reaching out here in the Apple Support Communities. I understand that your iPhone 7 speakerphone is no longer working after you updated to iOS 13.

I'm glad to help with this.

Take a look at this article for some things to try when the speakers aren't working correctly: If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch speaker

If those steps don't get the speakerphone working, check the microphones on your iPhone. Go to Voice Memos and see if you can record your voice.

If you can't record anything, or if the microphone is grayed out, I recommend that you contact Apple Support to see what your best options are for this. You can reach them using this link: Apple - Get Support

Best Regards.
