iMessage switched to Text Message

I accidentally clicked (after unknowingly holding down a message) "send as text message", and now all the messages I send to that one contact are all text messages! I have tried all of the ways suggested to solve this problem and change my messages back to iMessages. None of them have worked. Keep in mind, this is only an issue with one contact! The rest of my conversations are all normal.

Hello and welcome to Apple Support Communities, mzhang030.

If I understand your post correctly, when you message a particular contact the message send as text messages rather than iMessages. I’d like to help.

Follow the steps in this article:

If you see a green message bubble

If you see a green message bubble instead of a blue one, then that message was sent using MMS/SMS instead of iMessage. There are several reasons for this:
The person that you sent the message to doesn't have an Apple device.
iMessage is turned off on your device or on your recipient’s device. To check if iMessage is turned on for your device, go to Settings > Messages > iMessage.
iMessage is temporarily unavailable on your device or on your recipient’s device.
Learn the difference between iMessage and MMS/SMS messages.
