How can I sort the Photos sidebar?

To rearrange albums on your Mac, click My Albums, then drag an album where you want it to go. You can also Control-click My Albums, then choose Sort and choose to sort your albums alphabetically or by date.

Only the albums and folders in the My Albums section of the sidebar can be rearranged, not the albums, that Photos is creating automatically. When you ctrl-click a folder in the sidebar, you can rearrange the folders inside, using “sort”. This will only sort the top level of the folder, not recursively the subfolders.
