Allow in-app purchases

To start, I recommend checking out any restrictions that may be preventing you from in-app purchases. You can do that in Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > iTunes & App Store Purchases, and ensure that "Allow" is selected for in-app purchases. Please note, if the screen time restrictions on your device are connected with parental controls, those settings would need to be changed on the parent/guardian device.

Thanks for those details. It sounds like you're referring the previous Restriction settings. Those restriction settings are now found under the Screen Time settings. What happens when you attempting to make an in-app purchase? Are you seeing any error?

You mentioned updating your payment information as well. You would need a payment method on file to be able to make in-app purchases as well. You can see how to manage your payment details here: Change, add, or remove Apple ID payment methods
