Removing Playlist in Apple Music without Deleting the Songs

I have playlists I no longer want, but I want the songs within each to remain in my larger library. I'm not seeing any option to remove or delete playlist. The language of "Delete from Library" is much harsher and sounds like I don't want to choose that option. Any suggestions? I've tried removing them on my iMac as well as iPhone—both on the latest software update.

Hello, k.stenson.

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities!

"By default, the songs in the playlist stay separate from your main library."

So deleting the song from a playlist will not remove it from your Library.

I hope this helps! Take care.

Select all of the songs in the list first, right-click and click Add to Library if available. This should ensure that any Apple Music items that are in the playlist but haven't been added to your iCloud Music Library are added to it. You can then delete the playlist without removing any tracks from the library.
