Ask for camera/Snapchat

Hello, I’m having a problem with my Snapchat when I open it a notification pops up and says that I have to approve the camera feature for this app but when I go to settings there is no button or feature that lets me approve it. I have tried the internet but that was unsuccessful because once again the button wasn’t there. I have tried deleting the app and restarting the device but that didn’t work either I was just wondering if anyone had a quick fix for this? I have also notified Snapchat but they haven’t answered yet so I’m trying my very best

Hello kenz291 and welcome to Apple Support Communities.

I see you have a question about enabling the camera on your device for use with the Snapchat app.

Change common iPhone settings - Apple Support

You should see that option at Settings > Snapchat. There should be an option to toggle on the camera there. Note that the setting will not be at Settings > Camera.

As you've already deleted and reinstalled the Snapchat app, if the setting is not available there, the Snapchat support will continue to be your best option moving forward.

Cheers.
