MBP Display resolution

I know in the setting-display. You can change the resolution of your display resolution. Up to 1920x1200. But the resolution of my 15" MacBook Pro is 2800x1800. Is it possible (Maybe through some settings that Im not aware of) that I can change my laptop res to the naive 2800x1800?

Yes....maybe

try going to system preferences, then display, then hold down the Option/alt key on the keyboard as you click on the various resolutions. You should see something come up about "scaled for display", and you should get a bunch more choices. Other than that, I dunno, SwitchResX ???
