iPhone 11 vibration too weak!
just upgraded from an iPhone 6s to 11 and I don’t see an option now for increasing the intensity of the vibration. It’s much weaker than it was on my 6s & I am missing calls when on vibrate.

There is no setting to change the intensity of the vibration. Feedback to Apple goes here, Feedback - iPhone - Apple
You can check the vibration pattern that is set on the iPhone by going to Settings>Sounds & Haptics, then go to Ringtone. That will allow you to check the default ringtone, and at the top of the page, you will see Vibration, and you can change that pattern or create one of your own that may work better for you.
Agreed. Just got a new iPhone 10 and an 11 and both are missing the vibrational intensity of my old iPhone 6 & 6S. With the 6 & 6S, when the phones were set to vibrate, you could hear them vibrate quietly if they were sitting on your desk or you could feel them vibrate if they were attached to your belt. The new phones are silent when vibrating, making it much too easy to miss a call. Even when my phone is on vibrate, I need to know who's looking for me.
Creating a custom ringtone does not fix this problem. You can create a much longer ringtone, so if your hand is on the phone, you can sense it, but it is still silent, and you will miss all calls where you cannot see the phone screen or your hand is not on the phone already (that would be ALL calls).
Please bring back the louder vibration, or even better, please give us intensity (volume) control on the vibration, not just duration control.
There are many of us for whom this is a problem. Can Apple please post a reply letting us know what you're doing about this?
Thanks.
Here’s what Apple has available for selecting vibrate and related settings:
How to put your iPhone on vibrate, ring, or silent mode - Apple Support
I don’t have an iPhone 11 to check, but a similar-vintage model allows selecting from eight vibration patterns, plus custom patterns.
That might help, but whether a different or longer pattern is workable here?
I’m having the same issue with my newly acquired iPhone 11. Creating a custom vibration pattern didn’t work for me. Is there no way of increasing the intensity.
This is my first iPhone. I’ve had Samsung products for numerous years which has the ability to change the intensity.

Log feedback, as was mentioned earlier.
The folks from Apple just don't post the sorts of responses that you are seeking.
That's if the folks from Apple even read the postings here, which is far from certain.
That's frustrating, isn't it! If I have a problem and I don't let Apple know, then I haven't done my job as a consumer. If I don't tell them I need help, they have no way of knowing.
Over time, customer service has certainly deteriorated everywhere, not just at Apple, and it's tempting, as a customer, to give up in frustration and not interact with the company because we anticipate that the company won't do anything and will download the problem to us, explicitly or implicitly.
I think that's exactly where we, as consumers, need to increase our voices, to make it known by our numbers that we want help and we won't go away until we get it.
Side Note: Earlier today I sent an email to a customer service person at Dell saying "You're saying that you've known there's been a conflict between Dell computers and Acronis software since 2012 (popular backup software, in business since 2003) and Dell has done nothing to solve it? And you're telling me I should write a ticket with Dell? Dell and Acronis should talk and resolve this issue, not download the problem to individual customers. I've used Acronis on every (non-Apple) computer in my office for at least 10 years with no problems at all. And if you're telling me to uninstall Acronis and "see if that solves the problem", I'll choose to "uninstall" (return) my new Dell computer instead.
Yikes.
Just read my earlier post and I mis-typed: Dell suggested I contact Acronis and ask them for help with a deep sleep problem I'm having with my new Dell desktop. I mistakenly typed "Dell suggested I contact Dell.."
And it's really too bad that many companies don't respond until they are publicly shamed on social media. It should never come to that.
