Stuck on activation lock

I had to reset my password for my Apple account because it’s stuck on activation lock and it says that it’s the incorrect Apple ID or password but those are correct.

If necessary, if you are the original owner, take the device, the original purchase receipt with the serial number, and a photo ID to the nearest Apple Store.
