iPhone 11 will not pair with NEW Apple Watch Series 3
My wife’s iPhone 11 refuses to notice a brand new Apple Watch 3 to set it up. Yet when my iPhone XR tries, it takes 10 seconds,...what’s wrong with my wife’s iPhone 11?

I’m not entirely certain with this one, as I do not have either phone. It might be worth checking what iOS each of the phones is running, as I suspect they might not be the same?
I ask this because, if the Apple Watch Series 3 was purchased recently, it may be running WatchOS 6. This OS can only connect to phones running iOS 13, so I’d your wife’s phone is running anything earlier it will not be able to connect.
I hope this helps. If not it might be worth contacting Apple support about a possible repair/refund/exchange.
