Hi Swim-

Thats not good and I can understand that this can be very frustrating. Have you tried the steps listed in this link If you see No Service or Searching on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support ? If that does NOT help then your iPhone 7 may be part of the iPhone 7 Repair program and you can check whether you qualify by using the information in this link iPhone 7 Repair Program for "No Service" Issues - Apple Support .

You an also, as always, take your iPhone 7 to an Apple Store and have it examined. Good Luck.

The problem is with the logic board and the failure was triggered by the ios 13 update, which seems quite fishy since it worked fine for several years before this.

You can try toggling airplane mode off and on, resetting network settings, updating carrier settings, rebooting, and removing the sim card then putting back in. I tried all of these (nothing worked) and also went to Verizon for assistance. I scoured the Apple community and found out that my model 1066 is known for this problem. If you have the protection plan (depending on your carrier) they should replace it. Otherwise you have to buy a new phone or send it in to Apple for a $300+ repair, which they won’t do if there is anything else wrong with the phone.
