Receiving iMessages on iMac but not on iPhone

I'm currently running on a brand new 27 inch iMac (macOS Catalina) and brand new iPhone Pro Max (iOS 13.3). For some reason certain phone numbers can't get through to my iMessages on the phone but they can on the iMac. I've checked EVERYTHING! Nothing is blocked, nothing is on Do Not Disturb, etc. They can't even get through to call me, ugh. Anyone else have this issue and know what I can do? It is beyond frustrating! Thanks in advance.

Hi Xine122,

Have you taken a look at the article set up messages on iPhone to make sure you didn't miss something?

Is it that you can't receive an iMessage (blue texts) and can receive normal text messages (green texts) fine?

You can try disabling iMessage and FaceTime and completely reboot your iPhone and then re-enable iMessage and FaceTime and see if that helps. Settings > Message and Settings > FaceTime.

Sometimes there is a glitch somewhere and disabling both FaceTime and iMessage and rebooting your phone solves it.

I hope this helps.

Hi!

Yes, I have taken a look at the article and checked. There are 3 people who are unable to reach me. Two have an iPhone and one does not. FaceTime isn't the issue. It's when they actually call me from a phone that it goes right to my voicemail. It's all very strange. I will try that though and hope it works! I even removed them and readded them back into my contacts without any luck. :(
