data use on Apple watch

Last year I bought an Apple watch without cellular and for some reason I went over my data use with Verizon for the first time ever. I did listen to my Audible book while I was walking and playing it through my iPhone. I'd like to buy the watch again as I loved having it, but no one could tell me why I suddenly had a significant increase in data usage. Any thoughts?

The Watch should not have had any affect on your data, since it would be using data through the iPhone. If you go to Settings>Cellular, you should be able to see what has used your greatest amount of data. Unfortunately, if you have not reset that in a while, it would be hard to tell exactly.
