Hi just bought an ipad, looked at the photos if an identical ipad on the net and saw that all of them have silver ring around the camera. Mine got black ring. Does it matter? Not bought from apple, that's why asking here. Thank you! Two photos attached.

I'd say you purchased a "frankenpad." The flash is gone on your iPad with tape over it and the camera lens could have been replaced. If I were you, I'd return the device for refund.

thank you. the tape isn't the tape, it's a cover which the new ipad came in, everything else seemed legit, but I still have returned it, just wonder for the future reference, never seen one with a black ring around the lens.
