Apple Care

If I do not buy an iPhone specifically from an Apple Store, can I go to an apple store afterwards to purchase AppleCare+ (the 2 year warranty). If i can, how long do I have to buy the AppleCare + after buying the phone?

See the following (applicable in the US) from AppleCare Products - iPhone - Apple

How to buy

  1. Purchase either AppleCare+ product with your new iPhone.
  2. Or buy it within 60 days of your iPhone purchase:
    • On your device (go to Settings > General > About and choose AppleCare+ Coverage Available)
    • Online (requires you to verify your serial number and run a remote diagnostic)
    • At an Apple Store (inspection of iPhone and proof of purchase are required)
    • By calling 800-275-2273 (requires you to run a remote diagnostic and provide proof of purchase)

Thanks for this.

I have this same question, but it applies to a brand new 2019 13 inch Mac Book Pro

Can I assume that the same thing applies?

I should still be able to buy AppleCare+ even though I am not purchasing the Pro from the Apple Store?

Also do you know if I can take my new Pro to the Apple Store at a later time and upgrade the RAM from 8GB to 16GB?

Thanks in advance
