transfer logic pro x license to new macbook pro

I bought a new macbook pro and I want to transfer my Logic Pro X license. How do I install Logic Pro X on my new macbook pro without re-purchasing in the app store, which is what it is trying to make me do?

The Apple ID used for the purchase is the "license".

On the new Macbook, login on the Mac App Store with that same Apple ID. Depending of the version of macOS, look at the Purchases tab or your profile (Icon at the bottom left).

Hope that helps,

Ah Iceland! I see that your support options may be limited.

You at least can try to submit an online support request (See the link in my post above).

Regarding your problem, the only thing I can think of is the Logic purchase got hidden somehow. Yes this is possible!

First: On the new Mac, in the Mac App Store check if the Logic purchase appears in the Purchase History.

If it is there then try to unhide it:

Hope that works... Beyond that, I'm at lost. Really trying to help.
