I got my AppleTV 4k through Spectrum Cable and when I did I made sure I would be able to record live tv using Spectrum app through the Apple TV device. The guy told me yes but I have YET to figure out how to do so. Can ANYONE tell me how to do this or IF you even can? I just got my AppleTV last month and am already about ready to sell it and get a Firestick.
Okay. In that case, it looks like you need to be subscribed to the cDVR (cloud DVR) service for an additional $4.99/Month.

As included in the link I provided you would need to be subscribed to their DVR service. If there were elements of the app not functioning as anticipated then you would need to reach out to their support.

Ok I contacted my service provider and when they set up my tv the morons didnt set up the cloud dvr as they were supposed to. Mystery solved. Thanks for the help!
