When I open my mail on the mac mail app it doesnt display the content of the email. Can anyone help with this?
Not an uncommon problem and fairly easy to fix.
Open MAIL then goto MAILBOX scroll down to: REBUILD.
The size of your mailboxes will determine how long the rebuild will take.

Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode?
Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.
What I did was deleted the mail account and then added it again and it seems to be working now.

If you reopen Mail and go to the menu point WINDOW, scroll down to ACTIVITY, click on it, this will open a side window, this will show progress on a mailbox rebuild.
If no progress is showing, hmmmmm, I personally would then reboot my iMac to see if that solves the problem.
Iv'e done this numerous times and either rebuilding isn't working or the mailbox is very small...but its not. So I don't know if rebuild is working.
