Activity Sharing

I have an Apple Watch (Series 2 I believe) that I am attempting to share my activity with multiple friends.

The issue I am having is that it is allowing me to send an invite out to share activity, as well as the others able to send out an invite. However, it isn’t reaching the other person when the invite is sent out.

There are no errors or notification boxes telling us anything further, it seemingly travels into the abyss and we are not sure what is happening to the invite.

Only one person got any info back, with a notification saying one of us did not have an Apple Watch.

We have attempted this multiple times after checking settings, updates, etc.

Any help with this is appreciated!

I understand you're not able to accept invitations from your friends to share activity, and your friends are also unable to receive invitations. I'd be happy to provide information to help you address this.

Try the following troubleshooting steps: Share your Activity and compete with friends with your Apple Watch

"If you see an error when you try to add a friend or send an invitation

Sign out of iCloud on your iPhone, then sign back in:

Tap Settings > [your name].
Scroll down and tap Sign Out.
Go back to Settings > Sign in to your [device], then enter your Apple ID and password.
Tap Sign In.
Try to add your friend or look for the invitation.

If you still can’t add a friend, make sure that they have an Apple Watch and that you haven’t added the maximum number of friends. You can add up to 40 friends."
