Upgrading to Mojave. I don’t want Catalina

I want to go from Sierra to Mojave, but I can’t find the files on the App Store. I do not want Catalina at this time.

What did you see when you opened the Mojave page in the App Store, did you see 'Open'.

If you see Open then the App Store is detecting a copy of the Mojave installer app on your mac.

Go to your Applications folder and look for Install macOS Mojave.app, if it 6.05GBs then that is the full installer

and you should be able to install Mojave with it. If it is less than 6.05GBs then it is a partial download, move it to the Trash, empty the Trash. Restarting your mac, access the Mojave page in the App Store again and see if it will let you download it.

If you are going to download Mojave make sure your mac is connected to your router via cable, do not use the mac while it is downloading. If other devices share the same internet connection do not use them either.

The link provided did not offer the option to actually obtain Mojave.

I tried on another computer (running Mojave) and a different screen appeared which did offer to "get" Mojave.

So I'm puzzled as to how to proceed.

For the record the computer should be compatible: MacBook Pro 15" retina, early 2013. MacOS Sierra.
