Cannot turn off game center in icloud

When I tick game center off in icloud, it won't stay off. I'll go right back into my icloud settings, and it shows it selected. I don't use it and need it off to save space. Any help?

Game Center again I play Hero Wars mobile. I have the game I normally play, that is not linked to Game Center. There is another game, on a different player ID, started by mistake, that is linked to Game Center, that I don’t play, and don’t want. I just updated hero wars and for some reason it’s loaded the Game Center game. Game Center is not turned on, and I don’t allow it to use the Cloud. I need to get rid of the game that’s in Game Center, but have no idea how. I cannot go to iCloud Manage Storage route, as it’s not in there. I’ve tried contacting Game Center, but no reply. there seems to be no way into Game Center from settings. any ideas?

How to Disable Game Center in IPadOS 16? I just upgraded my iPad Air (v.3) to iPadOS 16 and now it's trying to make me create a Game Center account just to play the one game that I use. I have played this game for years without Game Center. I don't want Game Center. I'm never going to play against anyone else (it's a card game) and I'm never going to post results online. As soon as I open my game, the Welcome to Game Center splash comes up and the only way to get rid of it is to quit the game (or, presumably, create an account). In prior OS versions Game Center may have launched but there was a way to close it. At one time there was a way to disable Game Center in the Settings app, but now Game Center is invisible in Settings. Can anyone advise how to get rid of this thing? Thanks!!

Also,

tap on Settings
scroll down until you see GameCenter
toggle it off

I am having the exact issue. No amount of toggling does a thing. It turns of, but the second I get off the page & come back, it’s right back on.

This was an issue with my iPhone 7. I just upgraded to the 11 Pro & still have the same problem. It’s incredibly frustrating! Especially as I don’t play any games at all.

I do that, over and over ad nauseam. It won't remain off.
