Can I set up a second Apple ID for a friend who doesn’t have a phone for them to use iTunes Store?

My best friend doesn’t have a phone but would like to make an apple id to use on the iTunes Store as I gave her my old iPhone 6 to play games. She entered her address and such but still required a phone number....

Is there any other way to make an apple id without a phone number or can I use mine?

Thanks so much for using Apple Support Communities. It's great to have you here. I see from your post, you're having some trouble creating an Apple ID. I would be happy to help.

If you or your friend have a computer, you create that Apple ID by going to appleid.apple.com.

Create an Apple ID on another device
